Christmas Stars! (the Xmas factor!)

Everyone's talking about the Xmas factor! It's perfect if you're looking for an impressive Christmas show. Two angels (Reub and Ish) narrate comically as we go back in time to the first nativity, with God holding auditions for the key parts. Everyone does well apart from Herod who reckons he should be the King of Kings, and isn't impressed when the part goes to a baby! There's plenty of fun as well as some poignant moments as the story unfolds and, after several hiccups, everything concludes in a beautiful tableau.

There are six epic songs, including one for Herod ('A Cooler Ruler'), and a cast of 20-30 (or more). Permission is given to adapt the show to suit your cast, and if you have talented dancers, jugglers etc, they too can feature, as could a panel of judges. However, the show can also easily be staged more simply and with a smaller cast. It could also be performed with great style by teenagers.
