Not all children are 'little angels', that's for sure!, and this tongue-in-cheek nativity musical is perfect for them, particularly the rocking 'Not a chance!', the hand-jiving finale 'Calling all little angels!', and also the comic chant between Herod and his scared soldiers. There are six songs, and approximately 20 speaking, singing or chanting parts although these can be extended with larger groups of soldiers, inn keepers, revelers, and so on.
Little Angels is slightly more challenging than Rock the Baby, Stable Story and Hosanna Rock (but less so than Scrooge or Christmas Stars!) and is perfect for an impressive KS1 performance, or for a KS1-2 combined performance.
